MEG 1 — Tube Cylinder Version (450cc)
Two configurations. One proven performance.
The MEG 1 Tube Cylinder Version is the second configuration of the MEG 1 platform, designed for shooters who prefer a classic, streamlined profile while maintaining the same proven performance and reliability.
This version features a 450cc cylindrical air tube, delivering identical air capacity and pressure performance to the bottle version, with a slightly increased weight of approximately +200 grams for enhanced balance and stability.
- Same 450cc air capacity for consistent shot count and performance
- Classic tube-style cylinder for a clean, traditional rifle profile
- Slightly increased weight improves front-end stability and shooting control
- Ideal for shooters who favor a well-balanced, solid feel
- Maintains the same pressure rating, regulator system, and internal components
Designed for Consistency & Control
The tube cylinder version offers a more linear weight distribution, which many shooters prefer for bench shooting, target practice, and steady field use.
The added mass contributes to reduced movement during firing, helping maintain accuracy shot after shot.
Same Performance. Different Feel.
Both MEG 1 configurations share the same internal engineering, pressure limits, and reliability standards. The choice comes down to shooting style and personal preference:
- Bottle Cylinder Version: lighter, more compact feel
- Tube Cylinder Version: classic design with added stability and balance
- Cylinder Type: Cylindrical Tube
- Air Capacity: 450 cc
- Pressure Rating: Up to 25 MPa / 250 Bar
- Weight Difference: Approx. +200 g compared to bottle version
Two configurations. One proven performance.

Common questions
How does the safety system work on the MEG 1?
The MEG 1 features a clearly defined manual safety system designed for confident handling.
- SAFE position: Safety button pushed IN (rear position) — the rifle cannot fire.
- FIRE position: Safety button pushed OUT (forward position) — the rifle is ready to shoot.
For maximum safety, the rifle should always remain ON SAFE until you are fully ready to fire.
What is the correct pressure for filling the MEG 1?
- The recommended filling pressure for the MEG 1 is 24 MPa, with an absolute maximum of 25 MPa (250 Bar).
- Exceeding this limit can damage internal components and affect long-term performance.
Filling should always be done slowly to avoid heat buildup and ensure accurate pressure readings.
Can I fill the MEG 1 using a hand pump or a high-pressure tank?
Yes. The MEG 1 is compatible with both hand pumps and high-pressure air tanks, using the supplied quick-fill adaptor.
When filling:
- Always keep the rifle unloaded and ON SAFE
- Wear eye protection
- Monitor pressure closely
- Never exceed the maximum pressure rating
This flexibility makes the MEG 1 suitable for both home users and field shooters.
How do I safely depressurize the air reservoir?
- The MEG 1 is best stored with some air remaining in the reservoir to protect internal seals.
If depressurization is required, use the dry-fire method: - Cock and dry-fire repeatedly in a safe direction until the pressure gauge reads zero and no air discharge is heard.
Always keep the rifle ON SAFE when finished.
Note: The air reservoir is not replaceable and must never be dismantled.
What maintenance is required to keep the MEG 1 performing accurately?
To maintain peak accuracy and longevity:
- Clean the barrel every 3 months or every 1,000 shots
- Never lubricate the inside of the barrel
- Always check that the rifle is unloaded before cleaning
- Ensure the barrel is clear of obstructions after cleaning
An annual inspection by a qualified gunsmith is recommended, even if the rifle appears to function normally.
Are there any critical warnings I should know before using the MEG 1?
Yes. For safe operation:
- Only fill with high-pressure air — never CO₂ or other gases
- Never exceed 25 MPa
- Do not use the rifle if the air cylinder is damaged
- Always replace leaking O-rings and seals immediately
Ignoring these warnings may result in unsafe conditions and serious injury.
